Acura offers the 2018 MDX with a standalone 3.5-liter V6 and nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque and is available with front-wheel drive or a non-hybrid version of the SH-AWD® system that retains the torque-vectoring capability.
