SCHEDULE A TEST DRIVE

Overview

The 2024 Acura TLX is a luxury sedan with charm for every kind of driver. As Acura's flagship car, the TLX is a top-tier selection, but it’s also practical enough for everyday family errands and road trips. If the Integra doesn’t offer quite enough options like expansive interior space and all-wheel drive, the TLX is likely just right for you.

Who's It For?

Acura redesigned the TLX in 2021 with its Precision Crafted Performance ethos at the front of every decision. From the chassis and engine to the suspension and brakes, the TLX oozes performance. The sculpted body panels offer both form and function, providing an athletic appearance and aerodynamic efficiency. Inside, the driver-oriented interior is the perfect marriage between luxurious comfort and perfect positioning for spirited driving. In short, the TLX is built for the mature enthusiast who loves the drive as much as the destination.

What's New For 2024?

For 2024, the TLX gets a mid-cycle refresh, bringing with it, updated styling, more technology, and enhanced sound deadening. The TLX will sport a new front facia with Acura's frameless Pentagon grille and a new mesh pattern. Larger 19-inch wheels will also be standard for the new model year. Technology upgrades can be found everywhere inside the TLX, from the larger infotainment screen to enhanced driver assistance features. Acura has also added thicker carpet, new fender liners, wheel insulators, acoustic glass, and Active Sound Control to cancel out wind and road noise while cruising.

Real World Performance

The TLX is almost equal parts luxury and performance. It's easy to see how luxurious it is, but the performance is just as incredible. The base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 272 horsepower. Drivers who want even more should consider the Type S model, which features a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 producing 355 horsepower. Acura offers the TLX with standard front-wheel drive or available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive for grip and cornering performance in any situation. Double wishbone front suspension, an ultra-rigid chassis, and powerful electro-servo brakes add to the TLX's prowess in terms of handling, braking, and all-around excitement. The available Integrated Dynamics System offers four personalized driving modes that articulate the car's suspension, throttle, steering, and brake response for any conditions.
