What's New For 2025?

The refreshed MDX exterior styling includes a more aggressive front fascia with a new diamond pentagon grille. Darker headlights, taillights, and bolder wheel designs complete the exterior improvements. Interior comfort and technology enhancements include a 12.3-inch touchscreen user interface with Google built-in and enhanced audio performance on all trim levels. The MDX Type S with Advance Package debuts a Bang & Olufsen audio system with 31 speakers. The optional AcuraWatch™ 360 is also new, providing a range of advanced driver-assistive technology.

Real World Performance

Under the hood, the 2025 Acura MDX is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing up to 290 horsepower. Paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, this V6 offers excellent response while always optimizing fuel efficiency. Those who want more performance should consider the powerful Type S model, which has a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 capable of up to 355 horsepower. The MDX comes standard with front-wheel drive, but those wanting more traction should opt for the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive model.

The MDX was built for quiet comfort as well as performance. The double-wishbone front suspension offers a smooth but agile ride, while the chassis has been engineered for noise reduction and stability. Variable ratio steering adapts to the speed and conditions of the road to provide precision and reduce driving fatigue.
