2026 Acura Integra

SCHEDULE A TEST DRIVE

Overview

The Acura Integra returned with notable fanfare, and the 2026 model continues this trend. It’s an affordable choice that still provides a surprising amount of luxury, especially at higher trim levels. Big performance packages make it drive more like an entry-level sports car than a family-centered four-door sedan. Yet it’s an economical choice for school pickups and carpooling as well. There’s a little bit of everything for every kind of driver among the many options for customizing the car. Finding these features together in one space-saving package makes this version of the Integra worth getting to know.

Quick Specs

  • Engine – 1.5-liter VTEC® Turbo Engine
  • Fuel Efficiency – 26 miles per gallon city, 36 miles per gallon on the highway**
  • Seating Capacity – Up to 5
  • Engine Power – Up to 200 horsepower; 192 pound-feet of torque
  • Cargo Space – 24.3 cubic feet with the seats up
  • Transmission – Continuous variable automatic transmission (CVT) or 6-speed manual transmission

What’s New for 2026?

The 2026 Acura Integra comes with a range of upgrades, although interior technology is arguably where the most important changes have been made. This year’s Integra now includes a 9-inch color touchscreen as standard — an improvement of two inches versus the outgoing touchscreen — and now boasts a faster processor for improved performance. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as wireless charging, are now standard.

There’s no shortage of exterior updates, either, although these alterations are more modest than what takes place in the cabin. A new aero body kit exclusively on Integra A-Spec models brings ambient lighting, black 18-inch wheels, gloss black side spoilers, and a new side sill garnish that offers both form and aerodynamic function. Three new exterior colors are also offered across the line: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, and Double Apex Blue Pearl.

Who’s It For?

Driver or passenger, there’s something to please everyone here. A high-output turbocharged engine provides driving thrills, as does the available 6-speed manual for those who really like to feel a connection to the road. The 2026 Acura Integra seats five, while offering generous legroom for rear occupants. Crucially, this Integra is also the only member of the premium sport compact segment that qualifies as a 5-door liftgate model, meaning you’ll enjoy increased cargo flexibility, too.

In short, the 2026 Acura Integra is a fantastic all-arounder and an ideal daily driver that doesn’t forget about fun. It’s appealing to anyone seeking a car with multiple use cases but doesn’t want to compromise at every turn.

Real World Performance

The 2026 Acura Integra is packed with a VTEC-enhanced DOHC 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, good for 200 HP and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. A sport-tuned chassis with an independent suspension adds to the driving experience, and you’ll have your choice of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission — exclusive to this segment. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters also come standard.

For those who desire enhanced control over their ride, the 2026 Acura Integra features an available Adaptive Damper System (ADS) that offers Comfort, Normal, and Sport driving modes with unique damping characteristics. Additionally, the Individual driving mode lets you personalize your driving experience by adjusting engine response, steering, and more.
